2. What data we process
We process the following types of data:
- Account information: email address and login credentials
- User content: audio files (processed temporarily) and generated transcriptions
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage data
3. How your data is processed
- Audio files: held in temporary storage only during transcription, then deleted automatically. Audio is not retained or shared after the job completes.
- Transcriptions: transcriptions are stored securely in your account and remain available until you delete them.
- Processing priority: processing speed and priority may vary depending on your subscription or usage tier.
We do NOT:
- store audio files after processing
- use your data to train AI models
- sell or share your data for marketing purposes
4. Legal basis for processing
Under GDPR, we process your data based on:
- Contractual necessity – to provide the Service
- Legitimate interests – to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service in a lawful manner
5. Data retention
- Audio files: deleted automatically when the transcription job ends, whether successful or failed
- Transcriptions: stored until deleted by the user
- Account data: stored as long as your account is active
We may delete inactive accounts after a prolonged period of inactivity.
6. Third-party services
We use trusted third-party providers to operate our Service, including:
- Paddle for payment processing
- Hosting and infrastructure providers
These providers process data only on our behalf and under appropriate data protection agreements.

If personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses, in accordance with GDPR.
